Acceptance of terms
By creating a Woofy account or using our app and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who can use Woofy
You must be at least 13 years old to use Woofy. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must consent to your use.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You may not create more than one account or impersonate another person.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, or illegal.
- Share false or misleading information about yourself or your dog.
- Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our permission.
- Attempt to access, probe or disrupt our systems.
- Scrape, copy or redistribute content from Woofy without permission.
- Use Woofy in any way that violates applicable law.
Your content
You retain ownership of photos, messages and other content you post. By posting content you grant Woofy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the Service. You are solely responsible for content you post and must ensure it does not infringe third-party rights.
Our content
All Woofy branding, design, code and original content is owned by Woofy HQ and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.
Playdates and meetups
Woofy facilitates connections between dog owners but is not responsible for what happens during meetups arranged through the app. You participate in playdates at your own risk. Always exercise reasonable care for your dog's safety and the safety of others.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that matches will result in successful friendships for your dog.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woofy HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. Upon termination your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
